Ballawoods Christmas Open House
It is the first anniversary of Ballawoods for Holistic Health and Wellness!
We are having an Open House on December the 8th from 12pm-7pm to celebrate the holidays and our anniversary! We would love to see you.

I Am Reiki Master, Hear Me Roar
I had my Advance Reiki Training today with my beautiful, magnificent Master Teacher, Heather. I love the things I learned, the new things I can add to my sessions, the new KINDS of treatments that I can offer...I love them! These healing techniques are so calming and beautiful. I can't wait to integrate them into my work. I've now got some lovely treatments to do for children and animals. So A.R.T (Advance Reiki Training) is all the training of the Master level without the knowledge of how to give attunements. So though I am now a Reiki Master, I can not teach Reiki so I am not a Master Teacher. The giving of attunements will be taught in a seperate class. Once I have completed that class I will be starting to teach on my own. I am planning on offering classes myself at the end of January/beginning of February. I don't think I could have offered them sooner when we are coming up on the Christmas season anyway. Everything in the Universe has perfect timing (it doesn't mean that I am not impatient sometimes).

NEW! Spiritual/Personal Development Workshops at Ballawoods
Hello all! I am starting to offer Spiritual/Personal Development Workshops at Ballawoods.
The classes will be Tuesday nights from 7pm-9pm and Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm. This will start Nov. 13th and 14th and go for 4 weeks. We will break for Christmas and then start up again regularly in January.
The fee is $20/class paid in 4 week cycles. You don't need to worry about losing money if you miss a class, just come to another class in its place.
Some topics of discussion will be: Energy and how it works, Universal laws, Healing, Spirit, Karma and so much more... These are the kind of classes that changed my life and I'm thrilled to be able to offer them to you now.
If you have a group of 5 or more and would like to have your own group on a different day or night please get in touch with me at ballawoods@sympatico.ca and I'll be happy to discuss times with you.If you are interested in these classes please let me know as soon as possible.

Reiki at One Red Chair Coffeehouse
I'll be doing Reiki demonstrations at the One Red Chair Coffeehouse on October 20th. If you've never experienced Reiki, come and check it out! I'll also be giving out Reiki gift certificates for 30 minute sessions (worth $25 each). I'll be there from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

Stonehenge, I'm coming!
This is it! They've posted the Karuna Reiki classes in Glastonbury, UK - where we get to meditate inside the stones of Stonehenge....my purest dream come true. I've always loved Stonehenge and I have visited, but you can't get anywhere near the stones. During this course I would be able TOUCH the stones and meditate with them. DREAM DREAM DREAM!
The course is posted at $1100.00 US - that's a lot. I'm putting my positive energy into the Universe knowing that I will be able to save that much money and the money I need for the flight and accomodations. I so badly want this and I have to try. I do want to be a Karuna Reiki Master (next level up from Usui Reiki Master) and doing it this way will be heaven.
For those of you who don't know anything about Karuna Reiki, here is a blurb from www.reiki.org.
"This class is the next step after Reiki Master and is complete with two levels, two attunements, four master symbols and eight treatment symbols. We have experimented with and taught this system for over 11 years and have found it to be effective and powerful. In fact, most students find it more powerful than Usui Reiki! The energy has a more definite feeling to it and heals more quickly and on a deeper level.. It works on the emotional and spiritual levels and also can help one become more grounded. "

Wow!!! Seven, possibly eight, clients tomorrow! That is a majorly full day - I'll be so super charged with Reiki by the end of it, I'll be giddy all night. Some people think that after a full day of doing Reiki that I'd be drained and tired but that isn't how it works...it's the opposite. Every time I give Reiki, I keep some too. I am energized, not drained after each session. I have the best job in the world. So Friday is booked solid but there are still spaces for Monday :) Have a beautiful day!

The deadline for the Meditation Workshops beginning September 25th 2007 is now September 18th. Spaces are filling quickly so there may be a possibility of adding another weeknight (or possibly Saturdays) for the weekly workshops. Ballawoods is doing really well. I've got new clients coming every week and it's been really exciting. I love holistic healing and I am absolutely in love with the work I do. It's my goal to get as many people as possible to try Reiki at least once so that they can experience the perfect peaceful power of this modality.
